Louis Nulton graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Class of 1889. From 1925 to 1928 he served as the 27th Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy. He retired as a U.S. Navy Admiral.

S. Naval Academy, and later as Commanding Officer U.S.S. PENNSYLVANIA, in the Atlantic Fleet during World War I.
