The President of the United States of America takes pleasure in presenting the Navy Cross to Lieutenant, Junior Grade Albert R. Johnson, United States Navy (Reserve Force), for distinguished and heroic service as a Pilot operating with U. S. Naval Aviation Forces, Foreign Service, and with Royal Air Force. Lieutenant, Junior Grade, Johnson took part in many bombing raids over the North Sea and the enemy coast.
