The President of the United States of America takes pleasure in presenting the Navy Cross to Captain (CEC) Reuben C. Bakenhus (NSN: 0-2006), United States Navy, for distinguished service in the line of his profession as Assistant Chief of Bureau of Yards and Docks, and as Assistant Manager of the division of ship yard plants of the Emergency Fleet Corporation.
