Fury (MCSN: 154107), United States Marine Corps, for extraordinary heroism while serving with the Headquarters Detachment, 6th Regiment (Marines), 2d Division, A.E.F. in action near Chateau-Thierry, France, 10 June 1918. Sergeant Fury remained in a building subjected to heavy shell fire and mustard gas and made coffee for wounded men, until the building was almost entirely demolished by the enemy shell fire.
