Wolfskill (ASN: 2184538), United States Army, is cited by the Commanding General, American Expeditionary Forces, for gallantry in action and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the Victory Medals awarded him. Private First Class Wolfskill distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with Headquarters Company, 356th Infantry, American Expeditionary Forces, in action at Farm de le Wamme, France, 10 – 11 November 1918, in repairing telephone lines under heavy shell fire.
