No. 43, W.D., 1918), Cook Frank Wilson (ASN: 2387684), United States Army, is cited by the Commanding General, American Expeditionary Forces, for gallantry in action and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the Victory Medals awarded him. Cook Wilson distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with Company G, 61st Infantry, American Expeditionary Forces, in action near Cunel, France, 14 October 1918, in voluntarily joining the infantry and aiding in the capture of three enemy machine gun nests.
