Warrick (ASN: 1385087), United States Army, is cited by the Commanding General, American Expeditionary Forces, for gallantry in action and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the Victory Medals awarded him. Corporal Warrick distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with Headquarters Company, 124th Field Artillery Regiment, 33d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, in action in the Bois de Bantheville, France, 29 – 30 October 1918, in laying a telephone line in the face of heavy artillery and machine gun fire.
