Sergeant Tucker distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with Supply Company, 308th Infantry Regiment, 77th Division, American Expeditionary Forces, in action near Revillon, France, 14 September 1918, in bringing up supplies in broad daylight and under constant artillery and machine gun fire.
