Private First Class Robbins distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with Company K, 116th Infantry, American Expeditionary Forces, in action at Molleville Farm, on the Meuse-Argonne Front, France, 15 October 1918, in volunteering to operate his rifle in an attack although sick.
