Reavis (ASN: 2194343), United States Army, is cited by the Commanding General, American Expeditionary Forces, for gallantry in action and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the Victory Medals awarded him. Private First Class Reavis distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with 89th Military Police Company, ASN: 2194343, American Expeditionary Forces, in action on 28 October 1918, near Buzancy, France, in putting out a fire which had caught on a number of boxes containing ammunition, and in giving aid to a wounded officer, this under heavy fire.
