Henry (ASN: 544386), United States Army, is cited by the Commanding General, American Expeditionary Forces, for gallantry in action and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the Victory Medals awarded him. Sergeant Henry distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with Headquarters Company, 30th Infantry Regiment, 3d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, in action near Crezancy, France, 15 July 1918, in remaining at his post under heavy enemy fire, thus securing valuable information.
