While serving with Company B, 3d Ammunition Train, 3d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, during the Champagne-Marne Defensive, 15 – 18 July 1918, Wagoner Corby stopped his truck and picked up wounded men under heavy shell fire near Jaulgonne, France, 15 July 1918.
