Beaumont (ASN: 1459331), United States Army, is cited for gallantry in action and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the Victory Medals awarded him. Private Beaumont distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with Machine Gun Company, 140th Infantry Regiment, 35th Division, American Expeditionary Forces, in action near Baulny, France, 28 September 1918, while attending to the wounded under heavy enemy fire.
