The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Army Distinguished Service Medal to Brevet Major Of Infantry Edouard O. J. Brussaux, French Army, for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service in a position of great responsibility to the Government of the United States, during World War I. While he was on duty at the 2d Bureau, French General Headquarters, Major Brussaux cooperated in every way possible with American military authorities, placing at their disposal the facilities at his command. He thereby rendered service of great value to the American Expeditionary Forces, proving himself at all times a helpful, able, and loyal friend.
