Heath (ASN: 3185701), United States Army, for extraordinary heroism in action while serving with Company C, 2d Anti-Aircraft Machine-Gun Battalion, American Expeditionary Forces, at Brieulles, France, 4 November 1918. Private Heath went through intense shell fire, and assisted Second Lieutenant Samuel F. Telfair in carrying a wounded comrade to safety.
