While serving with Company M, 38th Infantry Regiment, 3d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, on 15 July 1918, during the Battle of the Marne, near Mezy, France, with entire disregard for personal danger, Private First Class Dublinsky brought in two seriously wounded comrades amidst heavy shell fire. [A Distinguished Service Cross was awarded for this action.]

    The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 9, 1918, takes pride in presenting the Distinguished Service Cross (Posthumously) to Private First Class Morris Dublinsky (ASN: 552617), United States Army, for extraordinary heroism in action while serving with Company M, 38th Infantry Regiment, 3d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, near Mezy, France, 15 July 1918. Prior to the German offensive of 15 July 1918, during an intense artillery bombardment by the enemy, Private Dublinsky voluntarily brought in two wounded comrades through the heavy fire.
