Follett Bradley graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland, Class of 1910. He served in the Navy until 1912, when he transferred to the U.S. Army as a Field Artillery second lieutenant. He retired in 1944 as a U.S. Army Air Forces Major General.
