The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Army Distinguished Service Medal to Lieutenant General Camillo Angelozzi, Italian Army, for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service in a position of great responsibility to the Government of the United States, during World War I. As Director General of Engineers, Italian Army, General Angelozzi performed his exacting duties with eminent technical skill. At all times he was actuated by a desire to aid the American authorities by all the means at his command, thereby rendering services of the greatest value to the common cause.
