Morgan (ASN: 1807559), United States Army, is cited by the Commanding General, 3d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the World War I Victory Medals awarded him. While serving with Company B, 3d Ammunition Train, 3d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive, 26 September – 11 November 1918, Corporal Morgan distinguished himself delivering ammunition to batteries after being wounded near Montfaucon, 10 October 1918.
