The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 9, 1918, takes pride in presenting the Distinguished Service Cross (Posthumously) to Private Radovan Radevick (ASN: 2338005), United States Army, for extraordinary heroism in action while serving with Company A, 4th Infantry Regiment, 3d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, near Grand Ballois Farm, France, July 14 – 15, 1918. During an intense shell and gas bombardment, Private Radevick repeatedly volunteered and carried messages and assisted in caring for the wounded at great personal risk.

No. 43, W.D., 1918), Private Radovan Radevick (ASN: 2338005), United States Army, is cited (Posthumously) by the Commanding General, 3d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the World War I Victory Medals awarded him. While serving with Company A 4th Infantry Regiment, 3d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, during a very heavy shell and gas bombardment near Grand Ballois Farm during the night of 14 – 15 July 1918, Private Radevick repeatedly volunteered to carry messages and assisted in caring for the wounded at great personal risk.
