Orgill, United States Army, is cited by the Commanding General, American Expeditionary Forces, for gallantry in action and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the Victory Medals awarded him. First Lieutenant Orgill distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with Headquarters Company, 105th Field Artillery, American Expeditionary Forces, in action in the Bois de la Dote de Lemont, near Dannevoux, France, 4 October 1918, in refusing to be evacuated although wounded, and by his brilliant leadership.
