Edwards, United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States from August 1960 to June 1964. [This award supersedes award of the Army Commendation Medal to Colonel Edwards for meritorious service during the period 24 August 1960 to 2 July 1964 as announced in General Orders Number 145, Headquarters, United States Army, Alaska, dated 1 July 1964.]
