The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 2, 1926, takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross to Captain (Infantry) Ainsley K. Mahikoa (ASN: 0-315400), United States Army, for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving with the 21st Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division, in Korea, from 23 August 1950 to 18 November 1950. His outstanding courage and dedication to duty were in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the United States Army.
