The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 2, 1926, takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross to Captain (Corps of Engineers) Thomas Kaboth Ryan (ASN: 0-472142), United States Army, for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as a member of the 378th Engineer Combat Battalion, 2d Infantry Division, in action against the enemy in Korea from 7 September 1950 to 11 September 1950. Captain Ryan’s outstanding courage and dedication to duty were in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit and the United States Army.

Captain Ryan’s outstanding courage and dedication to duty were in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit and the United States Army.
