(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Brigadier General Frank Joseph Kobes, Jr. (ASN: 0-21949), United States Army, was awarded the Army Distinguished Service Medal for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service in a position of great responsibility to the Government of the United States as Director of Physical Education and later as a Professor, at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, from 1953 to 1974.
