(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Major General Richard Daniel Curtin, United States Air Force, was awarded the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service in a position of great responsibility to the Government of the United States, culminating as Deputy Defense Advisor to the U.S. Ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty organization from July 1965 to November 1967.
