Lieutenant Colonel (Air Corps) Fred Obediah Tally (ASN: 0-17218), United States Army Air Forces, was captured during fighting in the Philippine Islands in 1942, and was held by the Japanese as a Prisoner of War until his death in captivity on or about 15 December 1944.
