(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Colonel (Corps of Engineers) Birney Kellogg Morse, United States Army, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Construction Engineer and Commanding Officer of the Assam-China Pipe Line from 1943 to 1946.
