The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Army Distinguished Service Medal to Brigadier General Harold Thomas Miller (ASN: 0-12633), United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service in a position of great responsibility to the Government of the United States from 27 June 1950 to 19 August 1952. (This award supersedes the prior award of the Legion of Merit (First Oak Leaf Cluster) as announced in DA General Orders 89, 1952.)
