(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Major Rhee Tae Choul, Republic of Korea Army, was awarded the Silver Star for gallantry in action as a Battalion Commander in the 9th Republic of Korea Division. Major Choul disregarded his personal safety and exposed himself to intense enemy artillery, mortar, and small arms fire in order to lead his troops.
