Command Sergeant Major Ladieu led his units through a multitude of large-scale, multi-service, and multinational exercises and deployments. Command Sergeant Major Ladieu’s dedication, leadership, and professionalism are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself, the 54th Troop Command, the New Hampshire Army National Guard, and the United States Army.

Ladieu, United States Army, for meritorious achievement with valor on MSR TAMPA, Iraq, from 13 to 14 November 2004. Staff Sergeant Ladieu displayed extraordinary warrior ethos, superb communication skills and effective combat leadership while exposed to heavy enemy fire. Staff Sergeant Ladieu’s actions helped to ensure that his squad and escorted vehicles were out of the kill zone and saved civilian lives while engaging and inflicting heavy casualties upon the enemy. His actions reflect great credit upon himself, the 18th Military Police Brigade and the United States Army.

Ladieu, United States Army, for meritorious achievement with valor in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from 9 April 2004 to 11 April 2004. Staff Sergeant Ladieu maneuvered through heavy small arms fire to secure the crash site of an AH-64D Apache helicopter preventing the enemy from capturing the bodies of the pilots and aircraft. His actions reflect great credit upon himself, the 17th Military Police Brigade (Airborne), and the United States Army.
