Ladieu, United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States, spanning over 29 years while serving in positions of increasing responsibility culminating as the Command Sergeant Major for 54th Troop Command and the New Hampshire State Operations Sergeant Major. Command Sergeant Major Ladieu led his units through a multitude of large-scale, multi-service, and multinational exercises and deployments. Command Sergeant Major Ladieu’s dedication, leadership, and professionalism are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself, the 54th Troop Command, the New Hampshire Army National Guard, and the United States Army.

Ladieu, United States Army, for meritorious achievement with valor on MSR TAMPA, Iraq, from 13 to 14 November 2004. Staff Sergeant Ladieu displayed extraordinary warrior ethos, superb communication skills and effective combat leadership while exposed to heavy enemy fire. Staff Sergeant Ladieu’s actions helped to ensure that his squad and escorted vehicles were out of the kill zone and saved civilian lives while engaging and inflicting heavy casualties upon the enemy. His actions reflect great credit upon himself, the 18th Military Police Brigade and the United States Army.
