The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 2, 1926, takes pleasure in presenting the Legion of Merit to Colonel Turner Clifton Rogers, United States Air Force, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Commanding General, 18th Fighter Bomber Wing, in Korea, from 2 August 1950 to 2 November 1950. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of Colonel Rogers reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
