Private First Class Seimiantkowski distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with Company BG, 126th Infantry Regiment, 32d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, in action near Juvigny, France, 29 August 1918, in voluntarily going over with the tanks in the face of heavy machine gun and shell fire.
