Sheridan (ASN: 3279), United States Army, is cited by the Commanding General, American Expeditionary Forces, for gallantry in action and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the Victory Medals awarded him. Private First Class Sheridan distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with 101st Ambulance Company, American Expeditionary Forces, in action at Seicheprey, France, 22 April 1918, in evacuating the wounded under heavy enemy fire.
