Private First Class Milson distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with Sanitary Detachment, 114th Infantry, American Expeditionary Forces, in action near Molleville Farm, France, 25 October 1918, in searching for and bringing in, with two officers, two wounded men in the face of a terrific bombardment.
