Kingston (ASN: 73270), United States Army, is cited by the Commanding General, American Expeditionary Forces, for gallantry in action and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the Victory Medals awarded him. Corporal Kingston distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with Company K, 104th Infantry Regiment, 26th Division, American Expeditionary Forces, in action near Bouresches, France, 20 July 1918, in voluntarily establishing liaison under heavy machine gun fire.
