No. 43, W.D., 1918), Sergeant George Dunham (ASN: 548290), United States Army, is cited by the Commanding General, 3d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the World War I Victory Medals awarded him. While serving with Company M, 30th Infantry Regiment, 3d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, at Madeleine Farm, France, 10 to 12 October 1918, Sergeant Dunham under heavy shell fire distributed rations to units of the 30th, 4th, and 7th Infantry Regiments.
