No. 43, W.D., 1918), Sergeant First Class Albert Dewar (ASN: 2274263), United States Army, is cited by the Commanding General, American Expeditionary Forces, for gallantry in action and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the Victory Medals awarded him. Sergeant First Class Dewar distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with Company A, 316th Field Service Battalion, American Expeditionary Forces, in action at Epinonville, France, 3 October 1918, in repairing the aerial of the radio station under heavy shell fire.
