(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Brigadier General Henry Pratt Perrine, United States Army Air Forces, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Instructor, Secretary and Executive Officer of the Infantry School from 1939 to 1943 and as Commanding General School Troops, Infantry School, from 1943 to 1944. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of General Perrine and his dedicated contributions in the service of his country reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Army Air Forces.
