Abbruzzese (ASN: 31016986), United States Army, for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action while serving with the 9th Infantry Division, on 25 July 1944, during the operations in France. His gallantry in action and disregard for personal safety reflects highest credit upon himself and the armed forces of the United States.
