Citation Needed – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes Pride in presenting the Silver Star (Posthumously) to Technician Fifth Grade Otis W. Thomas, United States Army, for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action against the enemy while serving with Company B, 150th Engineer Combat Battalion, 1135th Engineer Combat Group, in action during World War II. The outstanding gallantry and dauntless courage displayed by Technician Fifth Grade Thomas exemplified the highest credit upon himself and the military service.
