Mirsky (ASN: 0-1543902), United States Army, for gallantry in action while serving as a Medical Officer with the Medical Detachment, 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, in action against the enemy in Germany on 20 November 1944. First Lieutenant Mirsky’s outstanding gallantry and devotion to duty are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflects great credit upon himself, the 1st Infantry Division, and the United States Army.
