The President of the United States of America, in the name of Congress, takes pleasure in presenting the Medal of Honor to Fireman First Class Demetri Corahorgi, United States Navy, for extraordinary heroism in the line of his profession at the time of the blowing out of the manhole plate of Boiler D on board the U.S.S. Iowa, 25 January 1905.
