(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Service Cross to Captain de Corvette Roger Barberot, Army of France, for extraordinary heroism in connection with military operations against an armed enemy while serving with the 1st Regiment Fusiliers-Marin, French Army, in action against enemy forces in Germany, on 10 and 12 April 1945. Captain de Corvette Barberot’s outstanding accomplishments, personal bravery and zealous devotion to duty exemplify the highest traditions of the Armed Forces of the Allied Nations.
