(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pride in presenting the Distinguished Service Cross (Posthumously) to Third Lieutenant Baltazar Adona, Philippine Army, for extraordinary heroism in action against a hostile force while serving with an Infantry Company of the 14th Infantry Regiment, Philippine Scouts, in action in the Philippine Islands from 10 to 16 December 1941. His unquestionable valor in close combat is in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflects great credit upon himself and the United States Army.
