Captain Fuller’s company was fighting a rear guard action in the Kasserine Pass, Tunisia. His gunners were firing so fast and so long that the tubes on the anti-tank guns nearly burst their hoops. Despite a terrific hail of enemy fire and infantry attacks, his company held the pass until they were finally relieved. Captain Fuller’s extraordinary heroism, personal bravery and zealous devotion to duty exemplify the highest traditions of the military forces of the United States and reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army.
