(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Lieutenant General George Scratchley Brown, United States Air Force, was awarded the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service in a position of great responsibility to the Government of the United States from 1968 to 1970 as Commander of the SEVENTH Air Force and also as Deputy Commander for Air Operations, U.S. Military Assistance Command Vietnam. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of General Brown and his dedicated contributions in the Service of his Country reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
