The President of the United States of America, authorized by Executive Order 11046, 24 August 1962, takes pleasure in presenting the Bronze Star Medal to Captain Kimberly N. Hampton, United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious service while serving with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 82d Aviation Brigade, as a member of Coalition Task Force 82, during Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Afghanistan from 16 November 2002 to 10 February 2003. Captain Hampton’s outstanding performance and dedication to duty were critical to the success of combat operations under the most extreme and austere conditions. Her efforts contributed significantly to the overall success of the Global War on Terrorism. Captain Hampton’s dedication and commitment reflect distinct credit upon herself, Coalition Task Force 82, and the United States Army.

    The President of the United States of America, authorized by Executive Order, 11 May 1942, takes pleasure in pride the Air Medal (Posthumously) to Captain Kimberly N. Hampton, United States Army, for meritorious achievement from 15 October 2003 to 1 January 2004, while participating in aerial flight as part of an aircrew team in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. Captain Hampton’s performance as Troop Commander with Task Force WOLFPACK contributed immeasurably to the Division’s operational success at all levels. Captain Hampton’s leadership, wisdom, and courage in battle are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect the utmost credit upon herself, her unit, and the United States Army.
