Hall (ASN: 6878838), United States Army, for gallantry in action while serving with the 1st Infantry Division, in action against the enemy in Sicily during the period from July through October 1943. Although subjected to intense enemy tank and small arms fire, Sergeant Hall advanced at the head of his company in an attack on a strategic enemy position.
