Edmund Giambastiani graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Class of 1970. He served as the 7th Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2005 to 2007, and retired in 2007 as a U.S. Navy Admiral, completing over 37 years of military service.
